Kershaw County School District is proud to announce significant improvements in its 2025 State School Report Card ratings, reflecting the dedication of students, staff, and the community.

On Tuesday, September 2, the South Carolina Department of Education released the 2024-2025 English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, and Science South Carolina College and Career Ready Assessments (SC READY) data for students in grades 3-8 and the End-of-Course Examination Program (EOCEP) results.

The first day of school for KCSD students is Monday, August 4, 2025, with a staggered start for 4K and 5K students based on last name. Families can find important details—including schedules, transportation info, school meal updates, supply lists, and more—here!

Families of returning Kershaw County School District students—including families who completed their pre-kindergarten or kindergarten students’ initial enrollment this spring—will receive an email with their students’ registration codes and instructions to complete the online registration process on Monday, July 7.

Four- and five-year-old kindergartners will once again begin school on a staggered start schedule for the 2025-2026 school year.
